Samuel A. Greco III is Sam Greco Financial’s owner and managing director. He oversees strategic development and works to ensure the firm maintains and continues to improve the level of service to clients and associates. He is a Registered Principal, Investment Advisor Representative, and OSJ Manager.
Sam enjoys educating clients in product knowledge and the different investment types. He develops financial strategies for clients and enjoys witnessing the excitement of clients as they begin achieving their goals. One of his primary focuses is simplifying complex financial concepts.
Sam joined Franklin Life Insurance Company in 1975 at the start of his career in the financial services industry. He built client relationships and specialized in developing life insurance and retirement strategies.
Within eight years, Sam was invited to work at the Franklin Life Insurance home office where he began establishing relationships with associates and managers throughout the United States. He also helped in sales and management development.
Sam was later promoted to Vice President of Marketing. In 1987, he became Regional Manager of the “Upper Mississippi Valley” region, which served Wisconsin, Iowa, and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
American General purchased Franklin Life Company in 1996. The new company asked him to serve as American General’s Regional Vice President overseeing seven states. He continued honing his sales and leadership skills in his new position.
However, Sam began realizing larger companies faced more unique challenges in providing specific advice to clients for their life insurance and financial services needs.
Sam founded Sam Greco Financial in 2002. While continuing to serve as leader to his advisors, he values his commitment to fostering strong client relationships and providing targeted advice to enable clients to achieve their long-term financial goals.
Sam is a Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow and a Chartered Leadership Fellow. He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and the Financial Services Institute.
Born in Toledo, Ohio, Sam became interested in pursuing a career in life insurance and financial services after an agent contacted him during his senior year in high school. Sam purchased a plan and asked the agent how he could do what the agent did.
Sam lives with his wife, DeeAnn, in Middleton, Wisconsin, a suburb of Madison. He and DeeAnn have two adult children, Kylie and Brady. They have been married for 44 years.
Sam enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also attends sporting events and follows his favorite teams: the Badgers, the Green Bay Packers, and the Milwaukee Brewers.
